Kimberly Strong is a mission-driven leader with more than 30 years of executive experience in the nonprofit sector, known for her unwavering commitment to community well-being and organizational excellence. As the founder of StrongOps Nonprofit Solutions, Kimberly brings a wealth of knowledge, strategic insight, and hands-on expertise to help nonprofits strengthen their infrastructure and amplify their impact.

Holistic Approach to Service

Since 2007, Kimberly has served as the Executive Director of Cabarrus Meals on Wheels (CMOW), where her visionary leadership has transformed the organization’s capacity and reach. Under her direction, CMOW expanded from serving 200 to over 550 clients daily and moved into a 10,000-square-foot facility with a full commercial kitchen, enabling the preparation of high-quality, nutritious meals. Her holistic approach to service has led to innovative initiatives—including weekend meal delivery, birthday celebrations, and pet food support—ensuring that clients are nourished in body and spirit.

Kimberly’s influence extends well beyond Cabarrus County. She is a respected statewide leader, currently serving her second term as President of Meals on Wheels North Carolina, and contributes to advisory councils and boards dedicated to aging, health equity, and community wellness. Her service includes roles with Meals on Wheels America, Healthy Cabarrus, the Cabarrus Wellness Coalition, and the NC Division of Aging, among others.

Her leadership has earned widespread recognition, including the NCAOA’s Rock Star Award for executive excellence and the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers’ Hometown Hero honor. A proud Rotarian, she was named Rotarian of the Year in 2020 and continues to support local initiatives through her work with the Cabarrus Rotary Charitable Works Foundation.
